The Farmers' Market runs every Friday, rain or shine, from June 5 –October 30, 2009, in the Mural Park on Main Street, 1/2 block east of Market Street.

Theme days, cooking demonstrations, promotions and special events are planned for many weeks of the season.

The City of Poughkeepsie Main Street Farmers' Market accepts Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupons (FMNP) and SNAP/Food Stamps (EBT). Attention WIC recipients, the Farmers' Market will be accepting Vegetable and Fruit Checks—new in 2009!

2009 vendors will include:
Janet's Jerk Stop (Jamaican hot foods)
Twisted Soul (empanadas, pulled pork and corn arepas, lemonade and a changing menu of "food concepts")
